Saltwater

You only need to mix 1/2 teaspoon of salt and a warm water (warm enough for you to rinse with) and use it as a mouthwash.

Cold compress

A cold compress is good for making the painless, reduce inflammation and swelling.

All you have to do is grab a pack of ice and cover it in a plastic bag then cover it with a towel. Next is to apply it to the affected area for about 20 minutes and do this every hour.

Garlic

Garlic is well known for its medicinal properties it contains elements that can kill bacteria that cause dental plaque and acting as a pain reliever at the same time.

Make a paste from the garlic and apply it to the affected area (you can also add a little bit of salt).

Vanilla extract

One of the components of vanilla extract is alcohol which can help numb pain and its antioxidant properties can help heal dental wounds.

Get a cotton ball and apply a small amount of vanilla extract then dab it to the affected area directly. Do this few times a day.
