You are doing some of these things that might seem a normal habit that doesn't affect your health but in reality these simple habits affects your health greatly that they can cause bloating, indigestion, and acid reflux.

Here are the three bad habits you are doing that causes bloating, indigestion, and acid reflux.

First on the list is drinking lots of water with your meal.

There is nothing wrong drinking water while you are eating but drinking excesseive amounts of water will cause indigestion as well as making you feel bloated afterwards.

You can drink a lot of water one hour before your meals or after.

Second on the list is eating a lot of starch and protein at the same time.

Protein foods have a slower rate of digestion while the starches digest much faster into simple sugars. So it is best to eat starch food first then follow it up with protein food.

Third on the list is drinking ice-cold water with your meal.

Drinking might let your think that it is refreshing but in reality it constricts blood vessels thus hinders the body's ability to digest food and absorb nutrients. It also soliify the fats you've consume that results difficulty in digesting.

It is best drinking a room temperature purified drinking water.
