Many people are having a hard time sleeping and 30 - 40% of adults experience symptoms of insomnia and this is according to the National Center for Sleep Disorders Research at the National Institutes of Health. Aside from that, there are many reasons why you are having trouble sleeping and here are the most common causes of that.

Common reasons for not sleeping well are:

Not enough exercise

According to linkedin research shows that exercising more often will help ease anxiety which leads you to sleep better.

Too much attention to your clock

When you suddenly wake up during your sleep you are most likely to look at the clock and see if how much sleep you have left this habit can result in unhealthy sleep patterns. The solution to this is when you suddenly wake up just do your thing and don't look at your phone to see what time is it and just sleep and wait till the alarm to go off.


People who are stressed are most likely the victim of having trouble at sleeping. Usually, stress comes from having a really bad day or financial stress and they can put a big strain on your ability to get a good night sleep because you are always thinking about them.

Don't drink too much coffee

Drinking too much coffee means consuming too much caffeine and that makes you a morning person even if its night time.
