Apple cider vinegar contains several health benefits that is why it is well known by people who stick to natural home remedies but there is a downfall for using ACV because it can cause several side effects too.

Side effects of apple cider vinegar or ACV

Taking a small amount of apple cider vinegar usually don't cause any problem but a high dose of ACV can cause many side effects and that's totally bad news. People thought that if you take more doses the more health benefits but that thinking is wrong taking too much can be harmful and even dangerous.

Digestive

ACV and acetic acid may decrease a person appetite and promote feelings of fullness, which leads to a natural reduction in calorie intake.

Bone loss and low potassium

A woman drank a 250ml ACV mixed with water every day for about 6 years and after that, she then got admitted to a hospital with low potassium levels and was diagnosed with osteoporosis.

Doctors who treated the woman said that they believe that a large amount of ACV intake daily led to minerals being leached from her bones to buffer the acidity of her blood.

Throat burns

Researchers said that it is recommended that the apple cider vinegar is considered a "potent caustic substance" and kept in childproof containers. A review of harmful liquid accidentally swallowed by children found acetic acid from vinegar was the most common acid that causes throat burns.
