Slice 1 lemon in half and then apply it on your elbows and knees (massaging it gently). After massaging leave it on for about 20 minutes and then wash it off with warm water. Remember to apply moisturizing lotion after doing this.

Aloe Vera

Aloe Vera is one of the main ingredients in some beauty products because it has a natural skin lightener that will also keep the skin hydrated and moisturized.

Procedure

Get a fresh aloe vera leaf and extract the gel found in the leaf. Next is to apply the extracted gel onto your dark elbows and knees. After applying let it sit for 20 minutes and then wash it off with warm water. Repeat this procedure 1-2 times daily for a few weeks.

Baking soda

Baking soda helps in getting rid of dead skin cells as well as reducing hyper-pigmentation that forms around the knees and elbows.

Procedure

Get 1 tablespoon of milk and 1 tablespoon of baking soda and mix them together until you make a paste. Apply the paste to your dark elbow and knees by rubbing it gently in circular motions for 2-3 minutes. Next is to wash it off with lukewarm water and pat it dry. Repeat this procedure every other day until you get the desired results.
