Breathing is essential to every living thing on earth but did you know that breathing also helps relax your body and deep breathing is one of the ways to lower the level of stress in the body.

Have ever noticed that when you try breathing exercises you can feel that your body is more relaxed. Why is that? because it sends a message to your brain to calm down and relax then the brain then sends this message to your body.

There are tons of breathing exercises you can try and find which is the best exercise that suits you. Here is one of those breathing exercises its called belly breathing it is a simple to learn and easy to do exercise.

Belly breathing

Every breathing exercise is very relaxing but this exercise is just a basic exercise for beginners or new in breathing exercises.

* First thing you have to do is sit or lie flat in a comfortable position.
* Second is putting one hand on your belly just below your ribs and the other hand on your chest.
* Third is to take a deep breath through your nose and let your belly push your hand out. Take note that your chest should not move.
* Fourth breathe out through pursed lips as if you were whistling. Feel the hand on your belly go in, and use it to push all the air out.
* Fifth keep doing this breathing 3 to 10 times and remember to take your time with each breath.
* After you have done all the steps at the end of every exercise notice how you feel at the end.
