We all know banana is very delicious and most people eat it every morning but did you know there is a Philippine delicacy called "banana cue" it is a mixture of banana and brown sugar. Not only that it is delicious it is also consist of many kinds of nutrients such as vitamin C, vitamin B6, vitamin A, Potassium, Manganese, Dietary fiber, Protein, Magnesium, Folate, Riboflavin, Niacin, and Iron.

Now we know what it can give to us we can now try making a banana cue.

Take Note:

Cooking the banana will reduce the nutrients.


* The quantity depends on you but let's say about 5-10 saba (Cardaba banana or plantain) peeled
* Brown sugar for the coating of the banana
* Cooking oil for deep fry


* Preheat the cooking oil in the frying pan
* Peel the saba/ bananas and then put them carefully into the hot frying pan
* Add brown sugar and make sure the sugar sticks to the banana by mixing them constantly
*When cooked, take them one by one and strain them to let the oil drip
* Get a barbeque stick and stick 2-3 bananas into the stick
