Sometimes after we eat, we get indigestion, bloated stomach or acid reflux. You're not even pregnant nor have gained weight. Well almost all of us experienced the feeling of being bloated after eating.
These are the habits you should avoid after eating any meals:


 1. Drinking lots of water with your meal
Water is essential but drowning your meals with lots of water can cause indigestion and make you feel bloated afterwards. Solution: Drink lots of water either an hour before or after your meals. Take a small sip on a glass of water throughout your meal.






 2. Eating lots of starch and protein together
Protein is known to a slower rate of digestion, and starches digest much faster into simple sugars. Solution: Eat your starch first then, that's the time you eat protein. You can have small serving of starch alongside protein but don't overdo.





3. Having ice-cold water with your meal
Ice-cold water constricts blood vessels, so it hinders the body’s ability to digest food and absorb nutrients. It will solidify the fats you've consume that results difficulty in digesting. Solution: Drink water at room temperature. You can also order hot water or green tea to start with your meal.
